Of course you did a good race hs! Never doubted it, good training and mind set all in your favour. Great stuff.
A seasons best FF! Great too... you've been putting in the effort for many weeks, well deserved.
Yeah, good to see that you're able to put those tentative miles in Evangel .
Well committed to run on brutal Irish weather LL.
I'm not putting many miles at all in either gg, you've done fabulously this year already and not always easy now for you to put in more before that op.
Another no run day for me! Torrential rain and lack of desire to venture out! I'm only really chasing last year's total... with just twenty odd miles to go, might revise but not by much. I actually enjoyed my lie in this morning instead!

Well done LL for running in brutal weather.

Very wise Steve having another rest day, especially when there is torrential rain.

Official results are out now and I was 17 seconds quicker, every second counts 😂 It was 1.42.38, and I came 107th out of 167 finishers, and 2nd in the MV70-79 age category.

Well done HS!

Good to see things improving Evangel :-)

Good luck with your scan Steve.

Excellent running everyone, I have been reading just not posting.

I am back to work today, still got a slight cough and a runny nose but otherwise I seem to be getting better. Not sure when I will run again but might try something easy on the rowing machine instead.

Thanks FF and Lesley.

Good to hear that you are recovering from your cold, and are back at work again Lesley.

I don't consider working out on a rowing machine to be something easy 😂

Didn't you catch covid again Lesley? I hope there's no lasting effects and the cold symptoms do one very quickly.

Yes it is/was COVID. Might just give a little while more before I do anything just in case.

Sorry Lesley, I'd forgotten this was a second bout of Covid, and not a cold. Don't be in too much of a rush to get running again, as that could delay full recovery.

Thanks GG, I might have a look.

No running today, just the Farmers Walk
