Yes GG the temps have been a challenge. Last run tonight before we head back to the UK tomorrow. Only 29 degrees at the minute 🤣🤣🤣

Sounds very interesting FF. can’t wait to read the blog. 5km tonight and it was a really struggle in the heat. Average of 9:04 but felt way way harder than that. Last run in the heat.

I tried a run tonight, went out with the club and did some intervals. Foot seemed ok, a little niggle now and again, not painful after I stopped either. So far anyway. Will see how it is tomorrow.

That’s the summer kit on now, was lovely out there tonight.

Good that things are ok Lesley, hope the foot issue doesn't re emerge. Summer kit! And you found it warm too scottdog! Not so for me yet, it was a chilling north east wind at 6.30 am and I was still near enough in winter kit.

My run wasn't as good as I wanted it to be but 3.6 miles was a good start to the day along trails.

Of course by 8am the sun is warming and was 13c which is great. As for 29c that's phew! Reminds me though of when my wife did the inaugural Race to the Stones when it was the hottest day of the year in the UK at 32c....and she came third female! She manages heat well.
Fantastic to running and sights FF.

Another 4 miles today but in Trondheim. Apparently it was 9° at 6 o'clock this morning. Beautiful morning and run.

Glad you had a good holiday GG, and that your dad seems to be making good progress

Well done FF for your 9 miles trail run, and 4 miles today.

A good average pace Scottdog in the heat.

Good to hear that your foot seemed ok after your interval session Lesley.

Well done Steve for your early morning trail run.

This morning was bright and sunny, and warming up. I did a good interval session on grass with a running friend. It comprised 5 x 100 metres, 5 x 200 metres with 30 seconds recoveries, and 4 x 400 metres with 60 seconds recoveries.

I've actually got around to blogging about yesterday's 9 miles. In my opinion it contains some lovely photos.
