Nice one HS strong finish. Best wishes with your foot Lesley.
I’ve been ignoring a sore groin for weeks.
Parkrun for me today last effort before next week.

Thanks LL, I nearly baled out after the first rep, as my right knee twinged during the last 20 metres. I decided to take the 2nd rep a bit easier, to see how it went. It was ok, so I upped the pace for the remaining reps. I did a slow jog back home. I'll probably be sensible, which is unusual for me, and have a rest day tomorrow.

Take it easy with the sore groin, as you don't want to aggravate it. I hope your parkrun went well, and was pain free.

A good session and times hillstrider.

Take care of those niggles folks, niggles can become worse unfortunately.

The whales definitely were nice to see, however, there was rain over the window and they were too far away to appreciate them unfortunately.

Whales sound wonderful to see FF even if far away.
Good session hs, I saw that second one before I read your comment and did wonder. Glad it turned out well.
My brother who is 71, a bit younger than me had a heart attack last Sunday and had four stents inserted on arrival at hospital in Toronto where he lives. He's been an exercise freak and diet conscious all his life so this came right out of the blue. My old man died from atherosclerosis and for a while, as I've mentioned here, I've been bothered about my poor pace relative to my current HR. Hypochondriac may be but I intend to talk to my GP about risk...
Nice Easter morning run in early sunshine, just four miles but enough!

Sorry to read that Steve and I hope your brother recovers well. Sensible idea to see your GP.

Thanks Steve, I was a bit concerned when I felt my right knee twinge, but a slower 2nd lap seemed to do the trick. To be on the safe side, I'm taking today as a rest day from running.
Sorry to hear the bad news about your brother, and I hope that he makes a good recovery. I would definitely make an appointment with your GP, explaining the family history with heart problems.
Well done for getting out this morning for an early run.

Sorry to hear that Steve. Happened to me last year although I only had 3 stents. Fast forward 12 months and I’m fitted than ever

Hope your brother is ok. My brother had his first Heart attack at 38 since had 2 more.
Has stents in his stents lost count of how many. That’s amazing scottdog. Do you have to be careful or can you do anything?
