Temp had cooled down to 29 degrees. 4 miles with an average of 8.59 but that was hard hard work. 3 camels spotted tonight also

No camels here but we did see some orka whales in the distance. I was told they were orka by the way, I'm not that clever ;-)

That must have been a nice sight FF, would love to see whales.

Loving the camels Scottdog. Don't think I could cope running at that temp.

I did 10k yesterday, foot was ok but I felt it once I hit the trail. Maybe I will rest for a while. It was fine afterwards which it wasn't last week. Dunno what to do.

Anyway enjoy your Saturday everyone.

I have to say Lesley it is bloody tough going. Back home that pace would be a steady run but here it is feels like hell for the whole run. I’m hoping when I get home and back in normal temperatures my running will benefit

Loving the camels scottdog..sounds like tough going, Ive been out this morning and thought it was hot a very slow 3 miles! Whales and camels, the best I can do is a red kite ( and a hot air balloon) ....sounds like a tricky one LC..what to do for the best!
Enjoy your weekends everyone....

What will you lose if you take a day or two off running Leslie?

I often say to my wife when she has such a dilemma " you're not training for the bloody Olympics and if you were anyway you'd be advised to let a problem clear up!"
And I seldom follow my own words!!
Hot days and good runs scottdog.
I need more than the odd second LL!
Furthest run (7.6) since August this morning which was pleasing but I still feel that I'm pushing against the tide.

Great photo of the camels Scottdog 🐫 we don't have any in the New Forest 😀

Well done for the 10k Lesley. If in any doubt what to do, I would say take the cautious option and have a rest day, or two.

Good going Steve, upping your mileage plus interval sessions.

A lovely sunny morning this morning and I did a 5 x 800 metres with 1.5 minutes recoveries session on the gravel track in the forest. There were quite a few dog 🐕 walkers, with dogs off there leads, so I had to do a bit of dodging and swerving .I'll try and post the session on here.
