gg...thanks for asking about my brother. He was upbeat but tired when we spoke on Sunday but at least he was back home. Patient rehab now. Some great advice from scottdog who went through similar experience.

Great blog FF, I don't usually read them, but yours was very interesting, with great photos.
Thanks Turkhish, we tend to alternate intervals with hill reps.
I'm taking a rest day today as I have an appointment with the nurse later this morning. The earlier one was cancelled as she had Covid. It's athletes foot between my little toe and the next one which wasn't cured by two different creams.

Thanks Turkhish and hillstrider, the scenery here ever changing on the ship is beautiful but very similar to what you have seen already too. I've loved exploring on land and stopping to take photographs which is very unusual for me normally. I haven't (yet) made the photos public so if you want to see more then I'm afraid you need to scroll through my blogs.

You don't want to look at the detail of my training Turkhish, it'll put you off running for life😂Really though, despite what are on going struggles re pace I still get up and out early at least five days a week because I love it. Quite a magical trip FF which you've made interesting for us here too. Nuisance about that athletes foot hs, hope there's a remedy popping up soon. Longish jaunt of 6.5 for me including some of it on trails. Currently I've had to resort to a run/ walk regime which I hope doesn't count me as cheating. I'm waiting for tests to check out the condition of my heart/arteries following my brother' s heart attack and prevalence of heart issues in the family. I've been concerned, as you know, about my pace relative to HR for some time.

Thanks LL, it went well and I won't need another appointment.
Against my better judgement, I've been tempted to do a track session this evening on the grass running track.
You are doing the right things Steve!

Well after a decent run on Tuesday, today's wasn't so great. Pace was good, wasn't pushing it but I ended up with a sore foot I am so disappointed. It was a slightly undulating route and going down the hilly bits started the pain.
Hope something clears up your athletes foot HS.
Will need to go look at your blog FF.
