Lalli
Aw Caterpillar. :-(
Gentle parkrun at Roundshaw Downs yesterday with my beginners and Epsom 10 today (same as Parkhopper then!). Followed by a rant on Runners World race ratings for Epsom 10 for imposing a 2 hour cut off time for a half marathon. And then noticed all the club marshals were OAPs - looked like the club runners got their parents to do the marshaling so they could run their own race!

I seem to be taking it easy since hitting the target. Could be something to do with not having a specific race to aim for, or just bing too knackered....

12 minute miles is a bit harsh (we are also a very inclusive running club) but then the St Neots half was an "official" cut off at 2:30 so not much different in terms of pace (although a few finished after that).

Got a PB at St Neots yesterday and only 60 miles to go now with Bedford half coming up in 3 weeks. Surprised to get a PB after doing nothing over 8 miles since July and doing a parkrun and 3 hours of tennis the day before.

I think I ought to drop out gracefully now. I'm not going to manage 698 miles in what remains of the year.
