Just been out for a windy run on my own to bring up the 1000 miles. Hooray! I wanted to do it with my Club but circumstances/traffic conspired against me.

Well done! Another one crosses the line. I think doing so in that wind brings its own kudos ;)

Good luck on the weekend Parkhopper. I have the Norwich HM this weekend too, so more miles in the bank.

upto 899 miles now, if i knew i was that close to 900 i would have made my run home from the track longer !

parkrun and run down and back home tomorrow should add another 5.5 miels and 10 miler on sunday keeps me nicely ahead of target, at this rate i should hit 1000 around chrismas day :)

I'm pretty much the same as you Mr SJ. If all goes according to plan I will be just over the 900 mark by the end of November and then at 1,000 by Christmas. I was over 200 behind target in June!

Getting there slowly but surely. Just under 4 miles this morning means I'm at 957 miles for the year.

I passed 1000 today in the pouring rain.

Next target is 1250, Not sure I can make up the 130 miles that I'm behind by.

Parkhopper
Benidorm Half completed in 2:03:04. Will have to run it again next year to go under 2 hours and to get some more winter sunshine. It was 17 deg in the shade and not a drop of rain.

Well done activeight on hitting the 1k, and Parkhopper for a nice time. Sounds like an enjoyable race?

I'm having a week off after Norwich, I desperately need a break. Looks like it'll be a straight up scrap after that - 61 miles required in December for me.
