Well done everyone who has reached 1000 this week! I ran 6 miles tonight taking me to 963. Nearly there! 5K on Saturday then some longer runs next week I think.

I've passed the 900 mark this morning. If I can squeeze a few extra miles in on top of my planned runs along the way, I'll be there on Christmas Eve!

I think I'm going to have to realistically bin this target now. I'm up to 862, but have got a busy month ahead and while I think I can get another 100 miles in the other 38 is probably a step too far. Now if I can manage 2013 without getting injured, then 1000 miles should be doable.

I'm up to 940 and reckon I am on track do it, barring any more injuries. Biggest yearly mileage to date, anyway!

I couldn't have done that either! Would have had to do the extra mile even if it meant running on bloody stumps!

I've just looked at the list and thought 'Wonder if I can do 106 miles in what's left of the year?' Madness, absolute madness!
