Hi all, there seemed to be no takers to start a thread for a 2012, 1000 miles target, so I have lept into the breach. I only hope I can do as good a job as Girlie and Sheri did last year.
So, set your target, join the group, we'll make the rest up as we go along
Looking forward to sharing all the ups and downs with you over the coming year.
Just go easy on me OK? I'm new to this sort of thing!

Assuming you've made a group, you need to link it to this wire - which is 48617.
Good work, Alex.

Superstar, Al
Here's some numbers (remember next year is a Leapy Ear).
1,000 miles a year is...
83.33 miles a month (some people, including me, *really* like monthly targets)
19.13 miles a week
2.73 miles a day
And to stretch a stat, avarage run length:
1 run a week = 19.13 miles 2 runs a week = 9.57 miles 3 runs a week = 6.38 miles 4 runs a week = 4.78 miles 5 runs a week = 3.83 miles 6 runs a week = 3.19 miles 7 runs a week = 2.73 miles

I'm in again. I'm just 13 miles shy of achieving 1300 miles this year but not sure I'll have the time I had this year for all the summer running so am going for a 1000 mile target again for 2012.
