paulcoz Yep I new it was going to be slow as I have just completed the half ironman but boy my legs felt like lead. The week before tried a slow jog which was even worse. A minute slower I suppose it could of been worse. Resting till next week now legs deserve it :-)

Tri_Harder I was aiming for 7:30 minute miles and i succeeded. Very Happy!! Ran on the shoulder of a fetchie (possibly somebody called Dowse) overtaking when i could but didn't have any speed to stay in front of him until about 3.5 - 4 miles when i decided to go for it and managed to keep it going to the end. 30secs a mile faster than my Chemsley run back in February!

upsy daisy Yuk!! Very little running over the last few weeks, so it serves me right :-( Warm evening, but glad I did it. feel a bit more motivated to get out and about again after the lurgy.
