Started running in March 2008 and now wish I had started much earlier! Never thought I could run a mile, but found that I really enjoyed it, especially when all the hard work actually paid off. Have had a great first year of running, but then a pretty bad 2009/10 to make up for it - so no racing, just ticking over. Hoping that this year will be better and perhaps I can squeeze in a little HM...  And if you haven't read Born To Run yet, you should - the most inspiring book I've read in a while! |
