No.8 ™ Absolutely made up, ran a perfect race. 3rd in the County Champs, 3rd in the Club Champs, 16th Overall and a PB by 53 seconds. The power of the mind once again.

MadRobby Knocked 7 minutes off my PB. Really surprised by how fast I ran. Started off sensibly, thanks to the steep 2nd mile and pretty much average 7 min miles for the rest of the race. Delighted!

Greenman Tough hill between 1 & 2 miles, paid the price a bit for a quick first mile but at least we came back down it again at 9M. well organised and easy to get to from the A1.

Lakes I'd forgotten to predict a time. Managed a pb by about 40 secs. Will have to check official time to confirm. Really enjoyable race and day.

Nightjar Sorry betters. Race went pretty much to plan except for the pb. I was a bit behind at the halfway point but thought I would make it up on the way back down hill and with the wind. Guess I was just too far behind but whatever, not up to it. Still a decent time though.

Vitalstatistix Equalled my PB but this was definitely a tougher course - wind against uphill on the way out and then wind with downhill on the way back...
