ktrose1981 A nice friendly race. Well narshalled with good facilities in the Forest Centre including only small queues for the toilets! A flat fast course with a few deep puddles going across the path due to the amount of rain we've had recently. I ran with Gary until the final sprint at the end which I ran at a normal pace while Gary sprinted to the finish to secure his pb time. I would do it again but I'd need to put some effort into the run rather than just coasting. Gary started off too fast and then slowed in the second mile but still managed to have enough left for a sprint finish. Average pace was 8.43 minute miles with 282 calories burnt.

Lumsdoni Doubt I'll go for a PB as I have the Ultra a week later. Oh, also, there is no way I could PB at 5k at present. Will be a tempo run I think.
