Foot & Mouth Ran my PB here last year 49.02. Good race but hot, despite our disastrous journey and only arriving 5 minutes before the start

Justin S First race back in 2 months after flu, injury and septum operation. I was very out of shape, so pleased with the time.

Lalli Very hot, but enjoyed this one - shady round the tow paths which made up about 2/3 of the race course. Official time here.

njosmith This is only my second 10km, with the first some time ago. Inital target is sub-50 minutes. Aspirational target - 48 mins 48 secs. (based on a recent 5km time)
I haven't trained specifically for this event so far but I have run the Richmond half recently and I have kept my mileage up since then so looking forward to a good race.

The Outlaw Dysart Dash 10K - 2 laps flat course. Already warm at 9am. Had a good start, 1k @ 3:32, the settled into 6 min miling - aimed for 3:45/km. 5k @ 18:40. At midway I was 5th V50, but I overtook all rivals, including Hugh Saxby, by 8K and pushed strongly to the finish. Tough final mile, but achieved V50 first place! This is my best 10K time since my PB at Chichester in 2004 (not counting the Portman Somerley race in 2006 where the time is a bit suspect). 40th overall/427 finishers, 4th Ranelagh. Good race!
