Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Notes & Comments

I have had the most unhealthly week coming up to this race so I wasn't positive about getting a good time but I really wanted to break 50 minutes. I went out at a km every 4 and half minutes for the first two km, then I settled into a 5 min kms. The eighth km was 5min 30 secs so I had to up the pace for last couple of kilometers and came in 30 seconds under 50 minutes. Was a massive PB because I haven't run a 10km for so long and I had done virtually no training before that last run. Next PB will be much harder to come by.
The course had a split personality. Half a lovely run in the shade by the river (although I confess I hardly noticed it) the other half along a fairly boring (though quiet) road in the full sun. Very Hot.
Please wait... saving your change.
