Impossible is Nothing Unusually warm morning but felt ok to run in. Hoped to be faster, but went to sleep a little around 6/7km - lack of recent 10k experience probably. Good enjoyable race overall. Result: 95th out of

captainbread it was hot, but I had a great time and this was a PB for me - I've only run this race twice and the time before I was sick just before the fountains. Nice.

DickyDare Bit disappointed not to go under 36 mins but good solid run considering I ran 5km on the track friday, 1st 5km in 18mins 2 sec. slowed a little at 7-8km mark but finished quite strongly with a 3 min 30 final km. Race was very well organised and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Wirzel Hoping for a PB, the support from the crowds is usually good here, predicting a rather conservative time even though i'ts still a PB, hopefully I'll beat 41 mins. Found it hard from start to finish, started to get a bit of stomach cramps at about 4k eased off after 6k didn't have much left at the end. Sorry to disappoint all those of you who bet on me. P.S my garmin said I paced at 4.11 per km which was the right pace, but it also said I ran 10.06km

Shufflepuck Café To get a PB by 30 seconds I need to average 6:36 a mile. I'd have to run my training circuit in 44:02.

Update: I never got anywhere near running my training circuit in 44:02, but did I beat my PB by almost a minute. Go figure??

tjrunning Coming hard on the heels of the FLM not sure how I will perform in this race - still technically in the recovery phase, but it is my local race and I will be running with friends.

Hard work - but achieved new PB, hurray. Now I can rest properly for a few weeks.

chopper1883 Ran for my grandad who passed away on 30th April 2009. Would have been happy to run around the hour mark. Found something from I don't know where and got around in 50 mins exactly (unofficial time). Well chuffed, considering the heat, lack of training and how rubbish I was at the Bath Half.

anitad A great race. Well organised and fun to participate. Might have started too fast aiming at 6min/Km for a 1hr time. Felt ok in first half but with sun shining and having to wait until halfway for water I think I overheated and 2nd half felt much slower. I did walk about 100 steps which always makes it difficult to get running again. I really need to combat those inclines. I think it's more psychological than physical!
