_andy Flat and fast. PB in spite of a cold for the last few days. Not too pleased overall - my five mile HM split is much faster than this - although 23rd/183 is better than I thought.

Comedycare Watch time. Met a friend half way round and she pulled me through mile 4. Aiming for 40 minutes, but pleased enough. Nice evening, nice race.

Dvorak Enjoyed this much more than last year. Good route in pleasant conditions and on fresh legs ran it quite comfortably. Thanks to Bungee for putting up with my nattering for the first part, and seems good performances all round from Fetchies, especially Smout (and wee Isaac for putting up with all the hubbub). Oh, PB.

Fat Boy The Brig Bash is a superb event. Very friendly atmosphere, fast and flat course with a great post race buffet. I managed a good run finishing 7th overall. Enjoyed a good race with Cake Muncher from Fife AC but he got the better of me over the last half mile to finish 6th and get to the cakes before me!

HappyTimes Watch time, await official results. Taken over 4 minutes off last years time. Bit windy, warm but nowhere near as hot as last year. Felt generally happy with run. Need to train now to improve this further.
Good Fetch turn out. I like this race, shame I now need to wait a year to do it again.
Edit** Official time now, placed 17th of 183 (Last year 87th of 218).
Improvement of 4min 19sec over the year.

Smout Found it hard going - started too fast, gave in a bit in the middle but pulled it back thanks to HappyTimes bet and shout at the end. 6 seconds PB :)
