Our group was founded to encourage runners of all abilities to come and run with us over the tracks and trails of Falkland Estate. Our ethos is nobody gets left behind on the training runs. We have mixed ability groups who have all progressed with structured training. As a club we now have a strong membership base. Although we do not have a membership fee, we raise funds from organising trail races. The money raised goes partly towards the operational cost of the club and the rest is donated to charity and other good causes. So far this year we have raised money for Falkland Centre for Stewardship, Falkland War Memorial, Falkand Cricket Club and the 'Friends of Craigtoun Park'.
We also have a 2 mile 'Time Trial' every month during the summer and winter months for a bit of fun!
If you fancy a run with a friendly group then come along on either on Thursday 6.30pm or Sunday 9.30am.
Hot drinks, biccies and good banter after training.
No membership fee. Just £1.00 on the night.
