Baza Nice run around Alloa this morning, weather was perfect. Started of easily to make sure i could last the distance having only done a 5mile and 3x3 miles, in the last 3 weeks due to a calf injury. Felt really good at 5 mile so upped the pace slightly. More to try and drop my brother than anything else...lol. Strong run up the Menstrie hill at 11/12mile to finish in 1:27:53(watch). Much better than i expected to run today, so now looking forward to Edinburgh next week.

bedlam_g My first half, this is part of my training for the Paris marathon. Made the classic error of going off to fast, took 20 seconds off my 5km pb for the first 5km. Just when I’d steadied my pace a huge blister on the ball of my left foot burst open which meant doing the last five miles in intense pain, and a 10min positive split. Hopefully my foot will heal in time for Paris.

Debstir Absolutely chuffed to bits! This was my watch time (started as I crossed the start line) but my 'official' time was still under 2 hours (by maybe less than 10 seconds!). The Menstrie Brae was nasty but I still managed to pass about 4 folk, and a couple more on the final incline before the end (they got their own back just at the finish line as I was trying not to throw up!!).

Hibeedeb I was aiming for a pb of 2.05 here, but managed to beat that. Delighted, especially as I had done a 5 hour bike ride the day before as part of my IM training.
