I'm not very good at the 'mindful' meditative side of things. I just about cope because Adriene has a nice way of taikng the ever so gentle piss of herself and the hippy language.

I like the way she says things like, 'yeah, that sounds a bit cheesy but hey just go with it, see what happens'

I'm not good at journeys and explorations and connecting with my inner oosits.

Day 5 was lovely! Just what my still sore hip needed.

Thankfully a good sleep eased the pain a lot so while I'm still winceing whenever I bend down to put my shoes on, I managed that session OK.

That's good news DDR.

Sharkie that is what I love about these videos. She is introducing some of the other worldly aspects in a non threatening way. She's very clever really, as I'm sure many people (including me) would be put off by an instructor who took there shakras and omming very seriously. She's staying true to herself without alienating half her subscribers.

Day 5 done - I started it later than intended. So glad I made the effort and didn't miss a day.

Just finished 5 - which I didn't care for, probably because I couldn't balance tonight. I like the foot holding quad stretchy thing - which I find weirdly easy as opposed to clasping a knee in front.

Oh well that's 5 on the 5th here.

Wonder if there will be a suggestion of 6 pack tomorrow?

I am struggling with all balancing ones. My feet are to blame - they get painful.

That's unusual HP - do you have problems foot wise in general?

I struggled with the balancing too - I we must be some kind of virtual twins Sharkie as I agree with everything you've said about the yoga so far :-)

I have foot issues. Once I am finished with the Osteo I might get my feet looked at.

I only just read back, sorry Sharkie. Yes, called it a day with the 31 day thing as it was far too challenging for me at the moment. I've been doing Day 1 every day though as that contains stuff I can do and is better than me trying to make up a programme on my own! Glad the rest of you are enjoying it. I like Adriene- she's amusing :)
