Ouch DDR, that sounds nasty. Have you had this happen before?
Re my last post... I had half an hour to spare just now and gave myself and Adriene 30Days mark 3 another chance. Glad I did, I felt Day 3 was the best/most useful so far.
I'll try and squash Day 4 in tonight. I like to try and keep with 30 consecutive days as much as poss, the sequences build and I think you get into the habit. First week is the hardest in that respect.

I sprained it badly about 12 years ago moving a parasol stand! It's never been the same since. Usually yoga helps it but today it seems to have done the opposite. It appears to be affecting my ITB too as there is an ache all the way down the side of my leg now!

Got round to Day 4 just before tea. It's the hardest so far - quite energetic, which was not what I expected at all. Felt quite useful in a core strength, abs and obliques sort of way.

Sadly it's all too hard for me, even if I miss quite a lot out. It's fine, it's got me back into stretching and my hip feels great as a result so it's all good.

Oh god energetic is not what I need tonight. I have run, climbed, walked the dog and done loads round the house. I am quite tired right now. I'm sure I'll feel better when it's done.

with you on that one Sharkie - not quite what I was expecting and a bit hard at times for me. Thought that quick breathing in and out with your belly thing was a bit daft, but it was surprisingly energising

I did day 4 last night. I actually really enjoyed it but agree it was quite full on. Hoping today is more easy breezy (as Adriene would say).
How did you get on Carp?

Yeah, how did it go, Carp? And Jenny are you calling it a day - or are you continuing but just doing what you can? Not clear from your post, although you sound nicely positive. Some of the poses are pretty challenging for any of us past the first flush of youth (ahem) never mind a new hip person!
