I'm also a bit rubbish at the balancing stuff. Enjoyed day 8. It was probably just what I needed tbh.

Right fraggle - how did you feel about Day 9? I was rubbish at the arabesquey balances and as for the Crow - remembered my failure at this last year. Still, I can do deep squats - although was taken by surprise by the extent of them.
Pretty energetic overall - a lot of 'flow', more instructions and less chat than Days 7 and 8. I award myself 7 out of 10, which I realise isn't very yoga spirited! I may have a try at Warrior 3 later and tell myself it IS an arabesque!

Just done Day 9 Sharkie -balance on left leg awful, right leg OK, thank god no-one could see my attempts at Crow Never got the "ooo-jai-ee" breath thingy before, but when she said it sounds like the sea, it was a real light bulb moment * om *

I enjoyed that. I didn't fall on my head doing crow which is an improvement. I even managed a brief warrior 3. I had a serious case of the CBAs tonight but I did it and I'm glad.

Haha! Sharkie you are probably fitter and more supple than most 20 somethings. I don't think ability to do the crow is any measure of age. To be fair I enjoyed the bits before the balancing stuff more. I like how flowy it all is.

Day 9 was challenging but in a good way and I felt the previous days had led me there. Couldn't manage the crow pose but will try that again.
