Donation #42 in 5.08 for me. I ran 10 miles beforehand. Nae sure I’ll do that again. Couldn’t face food afterwards but forced down a baked potato and think I overcompensated on fluids. Felt fit to burst! 😂

Well done. I have failed the iron test too many times to risk running beforehand

Mines was surprisingly high. 144. (I take OTC iron just to keep topped up as was anaemic a few years ago).

I read somewhere that pistachios are good for iron so I start munching them for a week or two before.

I've just had to reschedule again thanks to an impromptu vaccination needed for work. Nothing in my area at all for the rest of the year but have managed to find something close to work for September so just got to hope we're out on time.

Just donated this morning. 5:58 so not my fastest time. Water and KitKat afterwards, was given 2 bars so I saved one for later :-)

Person doing the post-donation checklist tried to say no coffee but that's the one thing I couldn't agree to!

Donation #50 for me today. For the first time I asked how long it took and was told 6 mins, which I suspect was somewhat approximate but it’ll do. I was the last person in before the team had their tea break so I was there on my own and it was a lovely chatty session
