I'm trying to rearrange my next booked appointment as I'll be on holiday now, but the app is saying there's a 20 minute wait to even access the app. Hopefully it's because so many people have seen the warning and are trying to sign up.

The nurse was telling me about times they've had to turn people away because they hadn't declared illnesses or possible medical issues. Recently, they'd put on the arm pressure strap on a woman who then grimaced. She'd had a recent dog bite under her arm and it was still inflamed. So they sent her away to get it checked. I guess they can't account for every eventuality on the checklist!

roberton Jul 2024 1:26pm, 30 Jul 2024 1,594 posts	0 roberton I do like how they now tell you where your blood went. It doesn't really matter (I never doubted it was useful!) but a nice touch. I got an email this morning about urgent need. I gave blood three weeks ago though, so not the best target right now. I would anyway wait until after my marathon at start of October.

Because "We’ve got a lot of people using our website right now." Good news that this is probably because of so many people responding to the message. Bad news that they can't cope.
