Definitely club biscuits. I still think of them as a treat.
Probably agree that purple is the pick of the bunch, but I’d have any!

And I think we were duped! They were temporarily removed during the lockdowns etc to reduce handling weren’t they? Or did I make that up?

I think they'd already started to reduce staffing prior to lock down.
Many years ago they had someone with a big kettle and teapot. But then they moved to self service, where we had to use one of the big hot water 'urns'.
