One 200mg tablet of ferrous sulfate daily should be sufficient to improve your haemoglobin provided you're not losing blood or destroying your blood cells, Fizz:-). Sometimes higher doses are used if we're treating anaemia but even one tablet daily gives you much more iron than you'll get from even a good mixed diet.
Pharmacists know loads about medication

Thanks V’rap, one a day it is. They told me it was three strikes in a row and you’re permanently out, so I don’t want to even risk two strikes.

Gave a few weeks ago and recently got a text saying it was used at Leeds General Infirmary. Today collected a parcel - turned out to be an A4 cardboard envelope containing a certificate and badge for 25 donations - personally I like the texts but think the certificate and badge are a waste of money, materials etc.

I've had the badges and certificates given during the session, which I quite valued. Wouldn't have voted for texts, but the speedy turn-around does suggest they need the stuff.

I guess an option to opt out of the rewards would be good. I have to say I treasure my awards and certificates.

Well done. Boo to the lack of TUCs, though.
