Sorry I didn't get get to see anyone in the blue start, was a bit late getting to the start zone. Fetchpoint was great though, thank you all! And I even got to meet Serendippily on route 😃

Completely forgot about the Blue Start meet up, sorry! Good to see Zenderboy at start and whiteflash too. And thanks to Pothunter on baggage truck for saying hi.

Chiefy, thanks for manning water station at 25(?) mile and for the shout. Great to hear from you. I was in world of pain at that point, as you might expect!

Very well done to everyone who finished (actually who started!) and huge thanks to Fetchpoint for being a highlight as always (will pop across to that thread to say thanks directly!) :-) G

I was gutted not to make it to Chandos and finally meet you HoD :-( My mum unexpectedly turned up at the end, and it seemed a bit rude to say I was going to bugger off to the pub.

Not good to see.. that reminds me; just as I was coming up to the 400 yards to go mark I heard a marshal next to me ask "do you have a proper number", to another runner. I turned to see what was going on and the guy was running with a race number that was clearly from a previous London Marathon!

The marshal pulled him out of the race just before the turn on to the mall, serves the runner right really!
