Jovi Runner
My chip failed on two of the mats at Rotterdam marathon last year. I was reinstated. They can use video clips & pics. Mine wasn't quite so bad as it did record me crossing the syart line & at a few points.

Thanks all, daughter has spoken to VLM who were very helpful
They took lots of info about what she was wearing, when she started and when she thinks she finished and they will investigate, but can take up to two weeks, which is understandable given the size of the event
There is a photo of her finishing with another runner close by, which will help identify the time (of day)

Hi jennyh, I too was very tired, I was however determined to run the last 2km and finish - hope you enjoyed your run despite the conditions - crowds were amazing.
That's good news OM, hopefully your daughter will get her result.

Nice meeting you at the start Zehnderboy.
I intended to come out to Chandos, but spent the afternoon sleeping on the floor of my hotel room, feeling too rough even to shower and get into bed! Felt OK after a couple of hours, but had another rendezvous to make at a pub with a beer garden. If the heat is going to spoil your race it may as well enhance your drinking experience!

Nice to meet you guys at the start. Nothing could have prepared me for that heat! Was about an hour and a half slower than goal pace but was either slow down or don’t finish. Just read 748 never finished and so sad to read the news that a runner collapsed and later died. 😥

Managed to keep my sub 4 marathon times going with a 3:58:43. So pleased to just get round. Really soaked up the crowd support this time to just keep plodding on, slowed down loads in the 2nd half. Hardest race I've ever done but the one I've enjoyed the most.

Went to Chandos no Jenny 😔 ended up going to Pizza Express with Speedy Goth and 154Rob. Control would have gone but he ate most of M and S food zone.
Good catching up with old friends and having my arse slapped.
