So I managed to have a go on my course today. Hit every control, but the results say 16/0 🤷‍♂️

Send me some feedback so I don’t forget, and I’ll have a look on Monday.

I did @Shortcut Cam 's course in Farnborough. A nice course with all the targets being post boxes, 19 of them! I walked an almost 6 mile course. Should have slowed my watch to get better GPS fix at the start as I nearly missed the start point.

Nice montage 😎 This is the sort of thing I’d love to see happen more.

Did another course today as well, though no montage for this one. @JustCommando! 's Woodford Park course and the same location as Woodley parkrun. fetcheveryone.com/ori-course.php?id=137

A potentially very quick course as it could be doable in 10-15 mins. I did this one at a mildly confused walking pace with MrsGH. Started heading south from the start then a clockwise lap finishing with Teletubby Hill.

I didn't realise your finish time is the time you get to the last checkpoint, rather than when you get back to the start point again.

Glad you enjoyed it Groundhog. One of the post boxes is a rare Queen Victoria edition.

GH, I couldn’t find the monkey bars or the hill (well I found the items but not the points) at Woodford Park. How did you manage it?

About This Thread

I had an idea the other day whilst walking with Katie. A lot of Fetch games rely on randomly-placed markers to encourage you to vary your routes - but what if you could design your own virtual orienteering course? Drop a dozen or so virtual flags on the map, and then you've got a challenge for yourself and anyone else who is passing through the area.

I've built some pages that allow you to construct a course:

fetcheveryone.com/ori

There are some notes on that page ...
