Mine is the same. I have had attempts by me which it has flagged, not no one else. Now it doesn’t list my attempts but I can’t edit it either.

Unless I am confused (always likely, and I definitely am by this game atm) I think what has happened is it has flagged attempts by me even though they’ve been reset because of rule changes.

Or maybe not!

I did a run yesterday that I thought covered all 10 control points but didn't get any notifications at all about it. I was further than 20m away at the start, but I thought that had changed? Maybe I just missed every control point as they weren't accurate enough? Any ideas?

Notifications are working. I seem to have created a course that I will hit 5 flags of on EVERY dog walk. So I now have an "attempt" on most walks. Oops! (Thus, I have attempted a course and got a notification already this morning 🤣)

Did you go within 20m of the start before hitting the rest of the points?

I did .. but after looking at my course again I missed a checkpoint I forgot I added, so didn't manage the full course anyhow. Will give it another whirl next week and see if I have any more success :)

I find its best to plot the route & load it to my watch to ensure I dont miss a flag. I use a manual X pattern to mark each flag, and a "n" where I must keep close to a fence, etc. Folliw closely and Robert's your mother's brother 👍

Hey @JustCommando! I tried your course again and I believe 2 of the course points aren't where the description suggests! See below. This is me doing a loop of the monkey bars and a loop of the hill but the points never triggered! Have to ever completed the round?

I think @chunkywizard that once Fetch and I are both back from respective holidays I might ask to edit it - hill should have been ok, not sure about monkey bars.

Is there any way to show control points for a course on top of a run? Attempted a route again yesterday, thought I got all the control points, and still no notification. Bit baffled why.

Zp, not sure there is which is why it’s hard to work out JCs course!

About This Thread

I had an idea the other day whilst walking with Katie. A lot of Fetch games rely on randomly-placed markers to encourage you to vary your routes - but what if you could design your own virtual orienteering course? Drop a dozen or so virtual flags on the map, and then you've got a challenge for yourself and anyone else who is passing through the area.

I've built some pages that allow you to construct a course:

fetcheveryone.com/ori

There are some notes on that page ...
