Good work and thanks @fetcheveryone But I'm not sure it's working quite as planned/hoped. My run this evening took me through a route start point and that clearly activated 'an attempt' which is good. What's not quite right is that the checking code has picked up two flags en route to the start as well as four afterwards. Seems wrong to be given credit for the two early ones. |

@CumbriAndy I wouldn't see that as a downside. It makes the routes more flexible. You're able to start at any point, so there's no requirement to be at one particular start location, so long as you hit the flags. But I'm a bit of an anarchist (Rik Mayall style) |

Let's see what comes back - if that's where we end up, then that's fair enough but I'm trying to relate to a real world orienteering event. I've never done one but I imagine I'd get pretty short shrift if I turned up at the start of an event and said 'I've been for a bit of a warm up and already seen these three flags - can I have credit for them in my result please' ![]() |

I've amended it so that flags hit before the start are/should be ignored. @CumbriAndy I've put your run from yesterday back onto the queue. In theory, you'll get a notification telling you that you've attempted the course, but with fewer flags than yesterday (unless you hit the bonus flags after the start as well as before it). |

I'm half tempted to try that. Inbetweeners style. "Yeah, did those yesterday" :D |

Thanks @fetcheveryone - notification has appeared and the attempt looks as I'd have expected now Great work as always ![]() |

Is it possible to be able to see the GPS trace of the route with an overlay of the flags? (And potentially later on the routes others used)
