Nice idea but I don't think a 20m radius is enough to allow for GPS inaccuracy. I ran with 5m of every flag on a course tonight, including the start... nothing. :(

Actually, using the measure tool on Google maps, my GPS trace in under 10m away. 🤷🏻‍♂️

So when you look at the course that this marker is from is there an attempt listed saying how many points you found, or just nothing?

I *think* there may be a bug…
I reported a problem with the editing which Fetch quickly sorted (enabling editing last week resulted in me being able to edit ALL courses, not just those that I’d created). Since then, none of my orienteering attempts have recorded at all.

I had an idea the other day whilst walking with Katie. A lot of Fetch games rely on randomly-placed markers to encourage you to vary your routes - but what if you could design your own virtual orienteering course? Drop a dozen or so virtual flags on the map, and then you've got a challenge for yourself and anyone else who is passing through the area.

I've built some pages that allow you to construct a course:
