*sun*
We've got the sun - batteries fully charged and water heating up all on solar power.
Plan some running and some aqua walking, out this evening with running friends up for marathon.

Morning

Quick drop in prior to a telco..

Sends large parcels of sun and heat to the UK... We are due 30 degrees today.

Yesterday's lyrics were I can't stand the rain, originally by Ann Peebles (1974), probably better known for the version by Tina Turner (1984)

What: morning duo rather than evening group
Why: too hot for the latter today
Last rest: Friday

Ongoing hard: construction work in front of my house - I love pneumatic drills!

Lyrics: no

I associate yesterday's song most with the version by Eruption.

About This Thread

Maintained by alehouse
The Daily Thread

Each day someone sets some song lyrics, often on a particular theme, eg colours, numbers, running, etc. Others then say whether they know the song or not, but DO NOT say what the song is: the answer is revealed the next day.

Contributors then say
What their training will be
Why they are doing it

Some also say
Last hard
Last rest

Plus of course general comments about the weather, other people’s training or races…or injuries!

Feel free to join us and why not set some lyrics once you get the hang of the thread?
