Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oh @LindsD , that's so frustrating!

Although our searches were back a week ago solicitors have now recommended another specific search, hopefully this will be a quick online search. Also our case has now been handed to a different solicitor in the practice, I hope that doesn't cause a further delay, we are still hoping to move this month 🤞

When I worked as a conveyancing solicitor estate agents were the bane of my life. They meddle and push for completion (and their commission) at the expense of everyone’s well being. Not all of them but a lot.

When I moved it was a bit like Chinese whispers. My estate agent would tell me my buyers were waiting for something from my solicitor but when I rang they said they’d already done it and were waiting for the buyer’s solicitor.

My friend is going ahead with the sale, she will sue if they don't come good on the 37k, I would find that too stressful, also wouldn't have the money to put up!

I can't believe it.

Our vendor's new mortgage is approved but now it turns out that the woman at the top of the chain (it's a two transaction chain FFS) hasn't even spoken to a removal company yet and won't until Weds so can't agree completion date of 7th Jan and won't exchange DESPITE HAVING AGREED THAT DATE MONTHS AGO AND ALREADY HAVING PUSHED US BY A MONTH.
