Years ago my uncle, auntie and 3 kids turned up with the removal van and the owner decided to put it back on the market, because he thought he could get whatever percentage more that had accrued in the time it took to nearly complete. Someone had strong words with him - maybe a solicitor or estate agent and my relatives got in the next day. I think they had to spend the night on a pal’s floor.
GimmeMedals 25 Nov 9:36pm, 25 Nov 2024 27,950 posts	0 GimmeMedals We had the removal vans packed with our belongings and were still waiting for exchange that lunchtime. So unnecessarily stressful. They exchanged at around 12:30pm; we got the keys at 3:30pm on the Friday of a bank holiday weekend.
