Fingers crossed for you Squiggle.
I've had photos today, it was piddling with rain and I thought he might cancel, but he said he'll just add the blue sky! And would make sure indoor pics looked bright.

Also been to our first viewing. Nice house but we couldn't see one room because her son was ill in bed, the garden is just a small yard and the parking is tight. Lovely views though. Teen 2 felt it was too far from town, she wants to be able to walk to school AND town!

We are in the final stages of selling ours. We are just over 2 weeks from completion and still don't feel confident that it will go without hassle. They've still not had their survey report and I hope t hat they don't try and haggle at the last minute.

Our purchase is a piece for cake because it's the m-i-l's house. No estate agent and minimal work by the solicitor to transfer ownership.

Good luck XB!

I've just had the conversation with Teen 2 about being prepared for disappointment. We're currently in the excited early stages, but I know it could get disheartening or frustrating. I think location will be the thing for us, we may be able to compromise on a couple of things if the location is good (see above!)

Not moving or selling just now ... never say never again ... however always keeping an eye on the local property market. Found this last night and am speechless

Errr, why? Just why?

Dusting must take a week! And why is there a picture of a charity shop?

Is the owner Superman?

The flat ... I mean duplex is above a charity shop in what is actually a very sought after historic town. Its the most bizarre combination of modern with pseudo vintage I have ever seen. There is definitely a womans touch somewhere in there - however the locks on internal doors and nazi swastika might explain why only 1 toothbrush. Quite sinister!

Blimey O'Reilly! Great location and 0.4 miles from the train station. Open water swimming. Feels v claustrophobic.
