Whether there are wider issues, I don't know but I don't think there's anything to see in that post taken in isolation - quick look at the JustGiving page shows she's after sponsorship for an event she's running (just like lots of people do) and has simply chosen the charity she works for as the recipient of those funds rather than any other.

I went back for a wedding a few years later but not been back since, You'll be surprised how close Maiden Castle feels compared to how far away it felt as a student! I've run Durham parkrun just the once, as a stop off on the way up to picking son from Uni in Newcastle. Parked up at Maiden Castle and did a warm up run up to Mildert, past Aidan's, down across Prebends Bridge, along the Bailey, up Old Elvet and back down to Maiden Castle. That would have felt like quite the journey before I got into running, instead it took less than 30 minutes!! As our times at Durham have overlapped, funny to think paths are likely to have crossed in some way all those years ago. Went back for the reunion dinner 12 months ago, plus ca change, plus ca meme chose! Yes I think that route you describe sounds very very long as I didn’t run in my student days! Maiden castle was a million miles away! |

Their accounts are there for all to see (and the new figures should appear next month). Annual income £7.25 million, annual expenditure £7.3 million. I suppose you could take the Mr. Micawber view of the discrepancy, but it all looks generally good.

Even with taking some longer bits! Having a very Durham day today; just been speaking with a solicitor (work related) and discovered she was a Durham alum too. |

Any Durham alumni want something different from a trip down memory lane, I can (generally - last year was a bit more ugh) recommend the Lumiere event which normally takes place every two years in late November / early December type of time.

Hope you enjoy I reckon something like this to the start and leaving things at the bandstand is the best bet to then get back for breakfast at the end. fetcheveryone.com/route-1867957 |

Mary's was still women-only when I was there in the early 2000s.

Now I feel old - when I was there Trev's was also women-only (and is where my wife studied), and I think there were some men only colleges in the city centre.

Just opened South Manchester's latest results page, and rather than see either today's results or those from two weeks ago (it was cancelled last week) I got: |
