That members of my family still just stop trying to use things if their state of disrepair means they are a struggle to use, even though they know I can fix and service anything.
Daughter's bicycle had flat tyres and gears that didn't work. Took me just 10 minutes to fix both.

why some people, on a Teams meeting involving dozens of staff, keep their camera on when they're not actually contributing to the meeting. Right now i'm watching the close up faces of half a dozen people just staring at the screen. There's no requirement to keep your camera on, so turn it off!!!

I suspect you're right Chris, though I tend to think it's sometimes a bit of arse licking to show 'teacher' they're sitting upright at the front of the class and paying attention
