Mat query. How thick is best? Like Linds I did day one today, and sitting cross legged for that long the edge of my right foot hurts when it is bony. My mat is about 3 mm thick. I guess really thick ones probably are harder to balance on x what might be a good compromise?

I’m getting better at cross legged - if I’m sitting on the floor or on the bed I tend to sit that way now, but need something soft under that foot on the floor.

I just bought an 8mm one cos I’m lardy and like the padding

But thicker makes balance poses harder

Not an expert, but I think I would be inclined to just pad that foot.
