DocM suggested DownDog app to me AC (it's free for a month or so at present) as I find following instructors difficult. It works really well for me. There is a video of the instructor with a voice over, and you can bring up the pose list for that workout once it's loaded. You can adjust time, pace, instruction amount, difficulty level, areas to boost (e.g. hip stretches), and several types of yoga. Oh and different instructors, voice and background noise to choose form. Bit easier to dip into perhaps?

Another varifocals wearer here, EP! I try to listen rather than watch as the tv is on a wall mount so higher than eye level much of the time, but I occasionally have to stop and look to check I've understood what was said. I haven't always got it right 😂

haha
new yoga mat arrived
the irony of it arriving on a separate delivery to the order that I "topped up for free delivery" is not lost on me

I find I close my eyes a lot now during yoga and have to peep every now and then to make sure I’m in vaguely the right shape.

I'm doing more yoga now than before and do wish I have mirrors about! pretty sure I lean too much in Warrior1 for example

Good point EP. I’ve moved my yoga mat to the spare room and now practice in front of the mirrored wardrobe. As scary as that can be sometimes it does mean I can check for things like that, and I can see Adriene whichever way I’m standing 😊

if I use the lounge I reflect but no mirrors otherwise I know I lean when I run so don't expect yoga to be different I guess it's all core related

AC - I've been doing Yoga with Kassandra for some time now. She's on YouTube too and has quite a varied selection of classes. Some long, some short - sometimes the 10 minute morning classes are nice for something quick to get the muscles waking up.

Day 5 done - it was actually just what I needed, but I agree with the feeling that it was quite tough for a real beginner to follow - I liked the fact that there were moments of 'freedom' though.
