I sleep in 3 hour bursts then need a toilet break. Sometimes if the second wake is close to 5.00am I struggle to fall back to sleep

I tend to have a couple of good nights sleep approx 7-8 hrs (waking up a couple of times for the loo) and then a rubbish night where I only have a few hours, I’ll either toss and turn in bed or get up and read my book.

Usually me ages to get to sleep, then usually get about 5 hours - but sometimes I wake after about 20 minutes and then it’ll be the small hours before I drop off again.
When the mornings are light if Husband wakes me when he gets up at 5, there’s no point trying to sleep any more.

Fizz :-)
WW and I could sleep for Britain, as my mum would have said. No alarm this morning and nearly ten hours sleep, although WW got up for a wee, and I was awake for a while just after 6.

I know why they're called "the wee small hours", now.
