Mr Pix had now asked 2-3 times if I'm still getting up at 5:30 when he stops work
The answer has been yes as I need to run and train
Not sure if this is the first signs of dementia and he's forgetting he's asked it he's hoping I will change my answer 😂

Lol! Mr Ness initially hoped I would stop getting up so early once I was retired! He's given up on that idea now! 🤣😂

Answer is that Mr Pix should get up before you, make you coffee etc before you go now that he’s a man of leisure and you’re still working.

There’s no way I could lie in bed while my partner had to get up for work (or run before work) etc (might sneak back in later mind….)

I definitely don't want to be getting up as early but if I'm wakened I can't lie in my bed. I suppose it takes time to adjust.

I was lucky when I was working and Mr Ness had retired. He used to get up and make sandwiches for me so I had a lunch to take to work. He was like you TRO.

Unless OH has to get up before he stays out of my way in a morning but usually pops into the kitchen to say goodbye as I'm leaving.

My prep for work is done the night before.

When I was working and travelling, I'd get up (or be awake with jet lag) and have a 5am or 6am run. I'd never dream of doing that at home.

One of the joys of retirement, for me, is getting up when I wake up, without any alarm or pressure. Sometimes 7am, sometimes 9am, always somewhere in that range.
