It has in HK and China due to SARS and was a big discussion during the seminar. A German organiser was certainly considering it.

If it became mandatory to wear masks when racing, I wouldn’t race anymore.
Dio, I agree, it will never be normal to me.

I don't want to run in your world, runfree. Your name acquires a savage irony in this context.

If you ran in my world - you would be free to run without a mask, enjoying clean air, clean water, trees would be clapping offering you food to keep you going, birds would be singing and you'd see wild animals going around their own business
But of course you'd need to BYO

Mask will never become normal in my world. Thankfully up where I live everyone still pretty much adhering to social distancing & only seen 1 mask wearer in last few day’s - they are the ones that look conspicuous here. It’s completely abnormal to wear a mask.

Regarding the WFH thing, it's funny as I worked from home in IT full time from 2003-2015 for a very large, well known firm. When I started WFH, it was all the rage and managers were looking for people to leave the offices. As I was leaving in 2015, there was a push to get those working from home back into offices but I expect that's turned around again now due to Covid. It's interesting looking back, but even without Covid, these things can go in cycles I think. But I think people who haven't WFH before are realising that the time saved from commuting is very valuable and for me that was the main benefit of WFH. I loved it and the flexibility it gave me, but it's not for everyone.
