This is the 21st century not the middle ages. Loyalty and allegiance are earned not given without question.
I was always prepared to cut the late Queen some slack because she'd demonstrated that she could at least hold up an end a la Jack Leach.
My attitude towards the Royals had always been one of studious indifference but my patience with the whole circus is at an end.

parkrun then round to a friends for afternoon tea to watch ceremony. Not a Royalist but enjoy the pomp & parades. And an excuse to eat cake! And get a day off on Monday
