It looks like eL Bee has just taken that bollard in the, err, bollards.

Carp - my kit's all packed, and I expect I'll do it somehow. Or maybe I'll just do the last 18 miles as that's where the hotel is! Might do it with the FB group, but it's a midnight start and that's a bit early, as will be hanging around several hours to see the main event off afterwards.

Charlesvdw there are quite a few points as you leave your start pen on the way to the start line to ditch clothes. All discarded clothes are collected and donated to a charity.

After getting lucky in the ballot yesterday, I couldn’t find a thread, so thought I’d start one. Bit of background: I ran 7 marathons (2 London, 2002 and 2006) between 2002 and 2016, fastest 4:06, slowest 5:09. Major health issues in 2017 and 2019 and I felt that my marathon days were over, but I kept entering the ballot, safe in the knowledge I wouldn’t get in - and now I have! I am probably looking at walking the whole way, or possibly jeffing. I’m very excited and very nervous!
