I do her kettlebell routines 3 times week, definitely has given me some muscle definition in my arms and shoulders which is most uncyclist like 🤣

As a sidenote, for yoga I discovered Yoga with Kassandra, I find her routines more strength based than Adriennes

I think there are a few devotees of Kassandra moonlighting on the (Adriene) yoga thread!

My favourite online yoga teacher is an ex ballerina with English National Ballet who does classes on their website. Strength and stretch ... not too much spiritual stuff.

I was ever so sore after Day 1. I think I took 3 days off after that and "ouched" a lot although having done Day 2, I realised I could have done it the next day as per Caroline's plan.

I do a bit of stretching at the end, but not all that Caroline does. I don't wave at the screen either 👋

Lol, Gimme!

I swapped days 1 and 2 for dance reasons. Had a two day gap between her Day 1 ( my day 2) then back on track with Day 3.

I really didn't find Day 1 THAT bad! Her glutes days are very tough in quantity.

I would think your dancing classes have your muscles working hard every session, don't they, Sharkie? Whereas I hadn't been to the gym for 3 or 4 weeks so my quads wondered what hit them. I didn't get DOMS after any of the other days, despite all those hip thrusts!

Something Mike from the sprint group - nearly forty years younger than I am -and a bloke and me had in common was DOMS following a first heavy gym session after a break. Sounds like it was same for you Gimme - and you're fine after that.

Still tough but not the aches and pains.

My butt is still very aware of day 1!
I’ll be, hopefully, doing sessions Wednesday and Saturday as I run 4 work days and Sunday I’ll stretch and walk I think
I didn’t realise she showed her stretchy bit! Maybe that’s why I ache so much! I was late doing day 1 so had to go cook😂

Caroline Girvan - tiny but tough, sweet but strong.

Here's a thread rather in the manner of the Shred craze that swept Fetchland some years ago, or perhaps more recently (and less bossily) Adriene's 30 Days of Yoga each year. I found Caroline Girvan via geordiegirl (ta, GG!) and am well impressed with her workouts. I'm currently on Day 27 of her 30 day Iron Series and have STUCK TO IT. Wonders will never cease, I was beginning to despair of the likelihood of me getting any sort...
