that sounds horrid for D1
MrS came back fairly shell shocked from a few days away with difficult and upsetting parent wrangling. He may only be back for a day but I’m a load calmer. Over a year in since the initial refusals I have got to the stage where I don’t understand how everyone else gets their children into school and how she did for so many years

jelly that sounds tough. As a thread there’s a fair amount of experience of all kinds of teen angst. We don’t always have answers but always here to listen.

Triplet Dad
All 3 triplets have now had an offer from Napier Uni. As expected one is unconditional, and the other two are dependent on an extra grade C in any subject, which means they can drop the subjects they are doing worst at and concentrate on the ones where they will get the grades they need.

It's a little risky to limit their chances to just 2 or 3 subjects but I don't have any major concerns as they are all putting the work in.

None of them have had their first option responded to as yet (two x Heriot-Watt and one QMU) but the pressure is off somewhat as they would all be happy with the courses they've been offered from Napier so will all definitely be going somewhere in September.

Yes, thankfully as we're Scottish based there's no tuition fees so the real costs will be if they want to stay on campus, which would be around £7k each for the Napier Uni campus. The campus is only about 4 miles away from our house though so we're hoping to convince them to stay at home.

Maybe you could get one room on campus and they can take turns :)

So no tuition fees but still accommodation fees? Are there student grants or loans for living expenses?
