Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

George is hoping to stay on at the same college, so I'm hopeful there will be some flexibility on what is accepted if he doesn't hit the marks. They are splitting them across campus into those that are staying on, those that aren't and those picking up resit marks. It is only a small cohort anyway, (about 60 I think in his year), and given they are expecting them to be back in school in 3 weeks time anyway I am not surprised they are expecting them to go in.

Ours that are hoping to stay on have the opportunity to speak to staff tomorrow about what happens next, regardless of result. Those that have opted to go elsewhere, have the option to switch to stay if they have changed their mind/got better/worst grades than expected etc.

Meg he has to book a F2F 6th form enrolment interview from 0800 tomorrow for tomorrow/fri. He has an offer for a place dependent on gaining a 6 in the three subjects he's applied for so should be ok. I think the school will be flexible- they already offer retakes for those who don't get the maths/English needed.

OH is more nervous 😂 there were tense negotiations at the dinner table about what time we could wake boy1 tomorrow! WA there will be finger drumming here until 09.30 tomorrow!
