Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Just had an email from George's school to confirm results will be collected tomorrow from 09:00, and will be 'Centre Assessed Grades'.

I think I'm.more nervous than he is about it all to be honest!

My son's school are getting the teachers to hand deliver the results. It's a nice touch but I would rather he be able to collect them than potentially waiting in all day. It was either that or have them posted which probably wouldn't have arrived until at least Monday.

No idea. This was the plan the school had after the start of lockdown. I could understand them not wanting to have loads of kids and parents congregating outside when we were in full lockdown but now they could have at least given them a time slot and had them wear masks.

Email here, from 8am tomorrow. Although school did mistakenly send out an email saying come in between 10-11... hastily retracted. They must be having an administrative nightmare too.

Boy1 is actually pretty nervous, he's staying in same school for 6th form so is in a reassuring position.

Poppy, do you think 6th form will be flexible seeing as they know the students? Will he have a meeting with 6th form soon?
