It's a nice touch but I would rather he be able to collect them than potentially waiting in all day. It was either that or have them posted which probably wouldn't have arrived until at least Monday.

I could understand them not wanting to have loads of kids and parents congregating outside when we were in full lockdown but now they could have at least given them a time slot and had them wear masks.

They must be having an administrative nightmare too. Boy1 is actually pretty nervous, he's staying in same school for 6th form so is in a reassuring position.
