Oh, ffs. Put in an official complaint about the way this is being handled. They're being obstructive and unhelpful.

Good for her Cyclops. I was impressed by the speed at which the campus docs sorted T1 out and she had an appointment for CBT within two weeks.

That’s good news Cyclops :-)

You know what they’re doing is stressful and unhelpful Linds and indeed putting a massive burden on her and you. I guess there’s a risk LittleD will end up having to move schools unless she can get them on side and that looks hard when they are so punitive. So the head seems worth a go. It’s exhausting and distressing just reading about it have a (())

I don't know where to start. I'm due at school tomorrow after a sending out on Friday. I had a call today to say she has been sent out of German. There is an ongoing issue with the German teacher who talks to them like shit. Afaik she didn't apologise for the last incident whilst LittleD was 'given the opportunity to apologise but declined' and was punished as a result.

She spends a lot of her time at home asleep and starts her homework at bedtime, with the consequence that she can't get up and goes out of the house unwashed and without breakfast. That would make me answer back to teachers so I'm not surprised there's an issue. I was putting breakfast out for her but I got fed up of putting it away untouched. Mornings are a battleground with me trying to nicely get her up and her being aggressive and angry. This morning, despite getting up at 7, I left the house with wet hair and no breakfast.

We have a paeds referral for Jan. She has two counselling sessions left. There's been an attempt to get her to the school nurse to get a CAMHS referral but apparently the nurse wasn't there when she went. At home she can be happy and relaxed or aggressive and angry. Or she sleeps. Or plays games on her ipod.

I just don't know. Eventually I guess school will kick her out. At the moment she is out of a lot of lessons it seems. I feel alone. OH is really hurting too and we don't seem to pull together. I think we each feel blamed by the other.

And my mother can't remember the names of her nieces and thinks this is age appropriate.

Oh Linds :-( Sending lots of hugs. Can you refer directly to CAMHS? We were advised (by school) that a parental referral.would carry more weight. There's a long waiting list tho. You've said she won't consider changing schools. Can she tell you why? Has she thought about exclusion? Perhaps if the stress of going to school was removed, that might improve things, and that's how she is thinking?

There's no blame here, but I can understand how that would happen. (((( ))))

Have medical reasons been excluded - eg anaemia? Can GP refer to CAMHS, or self-refer to a service? Can she stop German? X
